WEEKLY SESSIONS

COMBINING YOGA, DRAMA, DEVELOPMENTAL EXERCISES

FOR A FOCUSED MIND

With MINDFULNESS at the centre of our workshops.

Taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies.

What is mindfulness?

Its simple.

Mindfulness is the practice of paying full attention to the present moment, noticing thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment. It's about being fully engaged with what you're doing right now, helping to reduce stress and improve focus.

Engaging in our activities helps your child:

  •  Learn to be more PRESENT

  • Improve FOCUS

  • DETOX their mind from everyday noise

  • Grow in KINDNESS & COMPASSION

  • Build better FRIENDSHIPS

  • Build their CONFIDENCE

Each workshop combines:

Games

In every class we incorporate games that are fun as well as educational. Interactive games reduce stress and anxiety, creating a calm and relaxed state of mind.

Regularly playing memory games strengthens kids' ability to retain and recall information, aiding their overall cognitive development.

Drama & Improv

Through both, drama and improv, kids learn to trust their instincts, take risks, and celebrate their unique voices. It is a fantastic way for kids to foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration.  In our sessions, we provide a safe and supportive space where children can unleash their imaginations and express themselves freely. Through fun games, exercises, and role-playing scenarios, we encourage kids to think on their feet. Our approach emphasises laughter, positivity, and encouragement, creating an environment where every child feels valued and empowered.

Yoga & Mindfulness

Introducing yoga to kids is an excellent way to promote physical activity, mindfulness, and emotional well-being from an early age. In our sessions, we tailor yoga poses and activities to be engaging and fun, making it accessible for children of all ages and abilities. Through playful movements, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques, we help children build strength, flexibility, and body awareness while also teaching them valuable tools for managing stress and emotions. Our approach incorporates storytelling, games, and creative visualization to keep children entertained and connected to the practice.

Dance & Movement

Movement activities provide a fun and creative outlet for self-expression and allow children to release energy in a positive way. Dance helps kids develop coordination, balance, and fitness, which promote healthy movement patterns and physical development.

Additionally, it helps improve

children's self-esteem, confidence, and sense of community.

With an increasingly warranted focus on the mental health of students across the country, we were looking for some additional support for the boys – in particular something that went hand in hand with our approach to PSHCE. Mindfulness is a fantastic tool to have in anybody’s personal arsenal and so we reached out to Bloom to try workshops with the entire school, to see what they might be

able to do for our Y1-Y6 cohort. Polina was punctual, professional and full of energy. The students loved the session and said they felt calmer and had a greater sense of peace after they had finished. It was a great opportunity for them to access and spend time with their feelings in a

light-touch, well-structured setting. I will definitely be recommending Bloom to my peers”

“Really good workshop. Great command of the group, lovely ideas which produced interesting

answers from the 4s and 5s. Loved the last section with the lights on the ceiling.

“We really enjoyed today’s workshop. Boys were fully engaged throughout the session and it was age appropriate. I think if we could, one session every half term would be great!” (Y1)
